Southern Gospel Jubilee (13 groups plus Christian comedian) Saturday, November 7. Doors open at 4, concert starts at 5:30. Tickets are only $5, 12 and under Free. New Beginning Quartet and Heaven Bound Quartet are hosting. Other groups from Tennessee, Missouri and others.

First Baptist Church, First United Methodist Church, and First Christian Church (Downtown Jonesboro Churches) having a Halloween Street Party Friday night 10/30. Hot Dogs, Inflatables, Games, Chick-Fil-A, Police and Fire Department, Creme Cheese Donut Eating Contest with the church Pastors. Union Street will be closed from Jefferson to Oak. Costumes encouraged (nothing scary). 5:30 til 7:30. Will decide by Noon Friday if need to cancel due to rain.
