A few months ago Lady Antebellum had some fun spoofing Easton Corbin’s song “A Little More Country Than That,” turning it into “A Little More Preppy Than That.”  Since then they’ve received a lot of requests for more spoofs, and this week they chose Lee Brice’s song “Love Like Crazy.”  Charles and Dave re-wrote the song about a trip to Waffle House after partying all night and they renamed it “Biscuits and Gravy.”  Lee has heard the parody and he says, “This is really funny, and I am honored that Lady A decided to tackle my song.  I understand that mine is the second song they’ve spoofed and only two songs in, they’ve perfected the craft.  Hey guys, how about a writing session in the next few weeks?”  The parody is quite clever and we can probably expect more in the future since the band has now come up with a term for their spoofs – you’ve been “Lady Hazed”.  You can watch Charles sing “Biscuits and Gravy” here.
